This degree program is accredited only by the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy. The degree is not accredited by any state, governmental, or academic agency other than CPSP. Thus, this degree will not likely qualify the bearer for a typical teaching position in most colleges and universities. Applicants should attend to how they hope to use this degree going forward. However, this degree will inform the student of what few people in the Clinical Pastoral Training movement know today, its authentic origins, and its buried history.
